My journey has been long and filled with countless highs and lows—emotionally, mentally, and physically. For nearly 40 years, I have lived with chronic colon issues and have undergone twenty surgeries. Despite everything, I always managed to look somewhat okay—until my first pregnancy changed everything. I gained 27 kg. During my second pregnancy, I gained another 32 kg, reaching 107 kg on the day I gave birth.

After that, I tried everything to lose weight: dozens of diets, fasting, extreme methods. Nothing worked. I had never exercised in my life, and I felt trapped in a body that didn’t feel like mine anymore.

I started training with Plamena almost impulsively. I told myself I had nothing left to lose—I just couldn’t bear looking in the mirror and feeling disgust anymore. I didn’t want to accept myself “as I am”; I wanted to work toward the best version of myself. And so, my journey began.

The first steps were the hardest. There were days when I wanted to quit, days full of self-doubt, days when even starting felt impossible. I trained at home because I didn’t feel ready to be seen by people at the gym. But I kept going—day by day, step by step—and slowly I began to notice the change.

Plamena created not just a workout plan for me, but a complete nutritional strategy. She guided me through every small milestone, celebrated every victory, and motivated me when I couldn’t motivate myself. She didn’t just train my body—she healed my mind. I started with just three workouts a week. Today, if I don’t train six days a week, I feel like I’m missing something. I still work out from home—my sessions take not more than 40 minutes, I save time, I drink my morning coffee peacefully, and I still manage my children’s routine before kindergarten.

And somewhere along the way, I didn’t just gain strength. I gained a psychologist, a mentor, and a friend—someone I can talk to about everything from daily struggles to relationship frustrations.

I first reached out to Plami when I needed help with those annoying last postpartum kilos I couldn’t lose. I was never a gym goer and I wanted a workout I can do at home with minimum equipment while taking care of my toddler. Plami helped me stay motivated, eat well, and be consistent when I had a bad day and sent me encouraging messages when I had a good one. It went so well, my husband jumped into his own program with her, too! 😃

I first heard about Plamena on Facebook, where someone described her as a very reliable fitness coach. I contacted her directly and after just one trial session I knew I wanted to continue. Before we started, I wasn’t doing any sport at all. If someone is unsure about starting, I would tell her: sooner or later you will have to do something for your body. It’s better to “hurt” for one hour every other day than to be in pain 24/7. So start sooner rather than later – your future self will thank you.
